"If I had my choice I would go backwards and start with dessert, because by the time we finished all our scrumptious food: twin lobster tails-- a work of art; freshly-fresh [just caught] swordfish and shrimp on mustard sauce with, tasty rice, and vegetables that are PERFECTLY cooked, I mean the broccoli and carrots snapped to the taste; Scallops cooked to perfection, with a caramelized taste that lingered in your palate leaving you wanting more with each bite. And the appetizers: mussels on wine sauce done to "my-ten-year-old-ate-the-entire-plate--before-we-could-get-our-tiny-forks-in-a-single-one" perfection; and delightful crunchy asparagus with golden parmesan cheese; It would have been a tragedy to not leave room for: strawberries on home-made "yummy" custard, and the "OMG! melt-in-your-mouth-divine-crust" of the banana cream pie. We were lucky to get a table! and we thank the young man who saw us in the parking lot hesitating to go inside, and enticed us holding a big chunk of freshly caught swordfish, and the words "family restaurant." We made the right choice. Thank you!"

"The food there is AMAZING, but the cheesecake is the best I've ever had...EVER HAD. It's even better than Juniors! Yes, you read that right. I suggest getting steamers too, those were delicious. You really can't go wrong w/ anything they have, but don't miss out on the cheesecake. Oh yeah btw get the cheesecake, its great.  In case I was too subtle, TRY THE CHEESECAKE."

"A great little restaurant. The food was good, large portions. Warm bread basket brought to the table once you order. Our party ordered the mussels and baked clams specials for appetizers. Both were delicious. My husband had the fish and chips and I had the stuffed shrimp. Both came with a salad and veggies of the day. We both really enjoyed our entrees. The stuffed shrimp had large pieces of crab, almost a crab salad rather then the typical bread crumb stuffing. Too full for dessert. Prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. Staff was super friendly and attentive. We definitely will be going back."

"Top notch seafood in a laid back, unpretentious setting, Twin Harbors completely fits in with the Bayville vibe.  My shrimp francaise was great, but what blew me away were the oysters.  Literally, the best I've had in my life. Huge, plump and juicy, I could have died and gone to heaven right then.  I can't wait to go back and sip martinis and have a dozen oysters, then walk back home along the beach."

"The seafood here is topnotch! Everything is freshly prepared. Lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams, flounder , steamers, & crabs are always excellent. All entrees come with a nice garden salad & bread basket.  Even the vegetables are fresh! The soups & chowders are great too. All the desserts are homemade, so save some room for one. The waitresses are friendly & eager to please. My favorites are any of the fried seafoods. Lightly breaded & fresh."
